Welcome to the Griot LLC
The Griot LLC is a multidimensional dinner experience that serves to explore the foodways, traditions, and stories of Afrocarolina’s diaspora while bridging Haitian-inspired cuisine as a fusion of both identities. Through traditional cooking techniques and building communal spaces to share food, The Griot is telling the story of our ancestors. Through our farm-to-table cooking style, we are redefining our relationship with land, food, and community. The Griot seeks to nourish the mind, body, and soul with the blending of southern and creole spices. As we expand, we are building the capacity to craft private dining experiences, a Pop-Up dinner series, and catering events. As we transverse through time with the flavors of our Afro-Carolinian heritage and the Haitian diaspora, The Griot is writing a love note to those that have come before us, with every plate.
